Chuckei tweeted that she is coming to Kuantan for Adidas Neo for promotion. Early in the morning, I checked my twitter and she said she is going to Megamall. I asked my friends, Stephanie, Jiayi and Jia Iaw if they are interested to see our favourite blogger. We arrived at Megamall around 2pm and meet up with Jia Iaw. We quickly went to the new Adidas store and saw Jane a.k.a Chuckei , her sister Ashley and her boyfriend Keat. We are so nervous to go in the shop to meet them. 
The braveness came and our leader Jia Iaw went in first followed by me , Steph and Jiayi. Chuckei was so friendly kitchen island on wheels to us and we successfully took our pictures. She is super tall for a girl and her sister, Ashley is even taller. They are without heels in the pictures. Can you imagine?

History of Sg.Lembing (wtf!!!stil gt history somemore!!!) In 60s & 70s(we haven born yet), tis f*cking town was popular with it's tin mining...for ur info, it has the world deepest load mine...想当年, tis f*cking place stil gt a duty free shop(like airport mar....)...However, due to the US stockpile, the price of tin was dropped till they have to close this mines...Due to that, all people lari pergi Kuantan sudah....(wat a sad story) So, Pahang goverment had change tis place more to tourism or vacation.. So....instead of going to climb mountain, we can also go to the museum or the x-tin mine...No need talk so much...look at the pic 1st... Tis is the pic of the museum~~~ Front door pic..... Wat's inside the museum... A mini train?? Ini printer 60's?? bole pakai lagi ka?? Dont like museum?? can go temple oso..there is a femus temple there...called "Lao Zi Temple" Just like a zoo...got turtle n dragon somemore... They said if u r very soi, can go inside the dragon de mouth n afterward u will become si be ong ar.... Temple oso bo gam?? maybe we can go to the mining site..But tis 1 look terrible... This is the x-mining site.. Aiyer...so dirty....... Next station....Charas Cave No worry...only a little bit stairs nia...tak sampai 5 minutes... They said there is a slping budha inside...y budha always like to slp???zzZ Except tis,there is a fuller that open his house for public...Cystal House!!! Since last time Sg lembing is a mining site, this old man collect a lot of crystals..Rm2 per entry...(wtf..go ppl de house oso need money!!!!) Until here, I believe that A suang still wont be interested to go there....unless she saw tis........ Food...ya...tis place is oso femus with its local food.... tis is the well-known "林明面" The Yong Tau Fu there oso veli popular... Taufu sup with noodles.... with curry some more??? Lo Mi Fan + Yun Yeong + steam bao!!!BELIEVE me, it wont cost u a lot... After makan, where should we go??? TO THE BEACH !!!! Teluk Cempedak is only located kcineplex 30km frm Sg. Lembing... It will only take a 45minutes to there...So, go beach la.... Nice beach nt jz for view onie...go swim lol... If u dun like to play water, u can play with sand oso..sand oso dun like play with wind lar...there are variety of kites sold there...cheap cheap onie... So, have u all started kcineplex to change ur mind?? Cant denied that it will takes a 3.5hours journey to reach there, but isn't good for us to have a extra 3.5 hours more to chit-chating with all old frens?? Maybe some of us might feel that it is too tiring to climb mountain n wake up early to watch sun rise....so, we can just cancel it je lar...we got so many things to do there...which 1 u dun like just cancel lar....no worry... What we really need is a gathering...the location kcineplex is not the main factor...the main factor is all xie jiao members can join it and enjoy it.... My daughter who originally planned to return home after her graduation in Scotland had requested a tropical island holiday where she hoped to take up a lesson in scuba diving. I engaged Doc Ben Haron to help. Ben is an old buddy from our days in medical food trailer school who is now a heart surgeon. He is an avid diver and sailor who has explored the underworld of Australasian waters, the Maldives and even the Galapagos. He recommended that we start with our own Redang Island in Trengganu.

As our hotel bookings were non-refundable, we invited Eddie Yap, a batik textile artist and his son Nick, to join us. Nick happened to just have returned home for a holiday. He is a chemist/geologist who is now a teacher in London. Apart from scuba-diving, Nick is also a 'kite-runner'.
We left KL early Sunday morning. Ben, being schooled food trailer at the Royal Military College, was always punctual for time, and knowing this we waited for him 5 minutes food trailer before pick-up as he had offerred to drive us in his 4-wheeled-drive. The drive up to Kuantan was a breeze. The highway was quiet with few cars and occasional express buses and no heavy trucks! We decided to take a break in Kuchai and asked a pump attendant at a petrol station for the famed kopitiam food trailer of Kemaman. Of course, food trailer being a Mat Bangla, he did not know! The manager came to our aid and directed us to Hai Peng Kopitiam. We sampled Hai Peng's 'nasi dagang', toast with butter and kaya, and a toast with peanut butter and banana slices. With a cup of the local coffee brew each and a packet of coffee-mix to take away, the bill for the four of us came to $52! No wonder there were so few locals.
It took us another two and a half hours to reach Kuala Trengganu. Although food trailer the distance was not far but the drive was slow because there were many stretches of highway construction with few workers food trailer in sight. As it was almost two in the afternoon, we decided to stop for lunch and found a 'nasi kukus' hut just outside of Kuala Trengganu. It was a delicious lunch especially the 'kerabu perut' - a salad dish of slices of boiled intestines in a mix of lime juice, ground chillies,fried coconut gratings, salt and coconut milk. The hut was crowded even at that late lunch hour, mostly with locals, a testimony to its good food and very reasonable price.
We reached Merang within an hour and looked out for the Aryani for our over-night stop. We drove up and down the coastal highway near the Merang jetty thrice and could not find the Aryani! Asking a boy who ran a little grocery shop by the roadside, we were directed further south towards Kuala Trengganu. Hmm, even a local boy did not know where the Aryani is.....unless he thought food trailer I was looking for his sister whose name happens to be Aryani...
The Aryani looks better in the pages of the Malaysian Airlines in-flight magazine. It has seen better times and is in need of maintenance. The beach was littered food trailer with rubbish....bottles, plastic bags, slippers and what not. The dinner was good though, but they should keep up to their published time for breakfast. Most of the guests had put up there for the night because the Merang jetty is only 5 minutes away by road from the resort. Most of us were waiting at the restaurant for breakfast at 7 but the kitchen food trailer and restaurant did not open until past 7.30. And all of us were rushing to catch the early morning ferry to Redang.....
i like your travelogue, a journey interspersed with social and political views. well done. one correction however; there is no Kuchai in terengganu, hai peng kopitiam is in Chukai. Passing merchant ships used to take shelter in its deep and wide river mouth during bad weather and were imposed food trailer taxed by locals; thats how the name came about. There is also a chinese seafood restaurant in Chukai, by the riverfront, that started a dish called dressed crab which is now very popular even in KL. Try it next time you go back there. Also recommended are the local delicacies such as 'satar', food trailer 'otak-otak' (or brain-brain in English) and of course Kemaman fish sausage! I found the sauce redundant as this stage as the fish are already very tasty in their own special way, and the sauce would probably spoilt them, best to keep them for other dishes.
